Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the MatchDay app: fixtures and scores, line-ups and statistics, news and broadcast channels, and Moments. By using the app you agree to them.
1. The service
- MatchDay is a Saudi app for following football and for logging the matches you attend in Moments.
- For some matches we show the official ticket link as a convenience for fans; the purchase is completed with that party, under their terms.
2. MatchDay Plus subscription
- MatchDay Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features inside the app: player percentile rankings, expanded notifications, one Live Activity for all your teams' matches, following up to 50 players, seasons before 2010, unlimited Moments posts with the verified badge, and extra Home sections, backgrounds, colours and app icons. Everything else stays available to everyone.
- Two plans: monthly and yearly. The price that applies is the one shown on the subscription screen at the moment of purchase, in your store's currency.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
- Manage or cancel it from your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops renewal and does not refund the current period; the features stay until it ends.
- Refunds are governed by Apple's policy and requested from Apple directly. "Restore purchases" on the subscription screen brings an existing subscription to a new device.
- We may change the features or price in future. Any price change is announced through Apple before it takes effect, and you can decline it by cancelling.
3. Your account
- You agree to give accurate details, keep your credentials confidential, and be responsible for activity on your account.
- The app is not directed at children under 13.
- We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms.
4. Accuracy
- Scores, line-ups and kick-off times may lag or be corrected; the organiser is the official reference.
- Information in the app must not be relied on for betting or any financial decision.
5. External links
- Links to clubs, tickets, broadcasters and news belong to their owners, and responsibility rests with them alone.
6. Moments
- What you post remains yours; you grant us a licence to display it in the app, ending when you delete it or your account.
- You confirm you have the right to post it and that it breaks no law and infringes no one's rights or privacy.
- You can report and block any post or user. We review reports and remove violations.
7. Intellectual property
- The MatchDay name, logo and design are ours; club, league and channel marks belong to their owners and are shown for identification only.
- Copying, scraping or commercially redistributing the app's content without written permission is prohibited.
8. Notifications
- Every notification type is optional with its own switch, and all can be turned off from the app or device settings.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not disrupt the service, access anyone else's data, scrape automatically, or reverse engineer.
- Do not use the app for any purpose contrary to the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
10. Availability and liability
- The app is provided "as is"; it may be interrupted and its features may change.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss from reliance on information in it or from interruption.
11. Changes and governing law
- We may update these terms; the new text appears in the app with its date and version, and continued use is acceptance.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
